Here we are in June, which means I can look through my phone and pull out some of my favourite photos from May. It was a fabulous month with great weather and it marked the official start to my wedding season. Two weddings under my belt and only four more before baby girl arrives :)
We had Kim, Jer, Brit, and Zach over for a BBQ and to see the house. It was a lovely evening that ended with champagne and sitting by the fire. They hate me for making them laugh in this photo :)
Loraleah and Luca were next to come by and see the place. We took a walk over to the 'wiches cauldron food truck for lunch. It was CRAAAAZY good (I had the trucker sandwich, naturally.)
We spent our days in the play room so that I could get some work done each and every morning. It's a pretty good system and I've never been more on top of my workload.
Splitting a frozen yogurt at Bayshore...
And hitting up a barre class three times a week. Coop is absolutely in LOVE with the ladies in child care and I know he looks forward to our barre mornings.
I finally found the perfect little table for the entranceway :)
This was the wrapping from my mother's day gift (and one of my favourite memories from that day.)
We got to check out Brit and Zach's brand new condo!! We are so proud of them :)
Brunch at the Elgin Street Diner with Nana and Grandpa and then an afternoon at the Tulip Festival!
First time baking in the new kitchen. I got excited about the double ovens and made a double batch. Ry was averaging five of these a day just to make it through, poor guy.
I picked out this lamp for the front room from Structube, but when Ryan put it together we were a little bit taken with how big it was... It didn't look that big in the store! We still have a few days to return it if we decide, but it's kind of growing on me...
A quick selfie after a shoot with the In A Nutshell blog girls :)
My beautiful Brit during girl's night in Kim's backyard. Such a fun night!
Baby girl's room is coming together! Ryan bought a crib and put it together for me, and I'm working on fun stuff like a gold feather mobile :)
Wednesday night baseball is back!
Coop was such a small little baby during baseball last year. He's much more fun this Summer and he loves playing "catch" with the big yellow softballs. The whole team is so good to him, picking up the balls he throws and entertaining him while I keep score.
Okay, if you're ever in Stittsville and you're hungry, you simply must eat at the Crispy Spring Roll food truck. We can walk there from our place so it was a fun Monday evening adventure. Ry had pad sew, I had chicken vermicelli, and then we shared the spring rolls. So, so, so good.
Crazy sunset in Carleton Place...
In other news...WE BOUGHT A HOT TUB! We've been planning on getting a hot tub since we were like 19 years old. We're obsessed. And finally we have the perfect spot for it at the new house and HOT TUB SEASON IS COMING!
We'll have it up and running by the time the new baby comes and I just keep picturing myself relaxing in the tub with a glass of wine...
Goodbye May, hello June!
